Outside the specialized arena, the author possesses knowledge and experience in other areas such as programming, web development, cryptography, GDPR (handling of personal data) and other distinct subjects.

Personal projects

Web Crawler (Python)

Program written in Python to automatically crawl through specified elements on a website. Using a Chrome driver to crawl and collect information and print the collected data into a CSV file to easily import the data into other software.

RSA Cryptography (JavaScript)

A website created to show the process to create a asymmetric pair of keys used in the RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) cryptosystem. The site is a prototype and the functionally is therefore limited to prime numbers three and eleven and only accepts small letters at this point.

SHA512 log in (JavaScript)

A website login function written in JavaScript using local storage and a SHA512 function. The key is a set hash value only to allow a input that corresponds to the hash value to enter.

"Blackjack" application (Java)

A program written in Java to imitate the popular card-game Blackjack (21). The interface is designed and developed in the Java IDE Netbeans. The application is made to make it possible for the user to activate a side panel to watch the deck of cards and view the percentage chance to draw certain cards. This is in order for beginners to pay close attention to the cards and learn about Blackjack strategy and probability of drawing the correct card.

"Bartender" application (Android)

Application developed in Android Studio for Android devices. This application is meant to create, edit and remove different recipes for drinks. By default, the application comes with a set of some of the most common drinks ordered in typical pubs and bars. The user can choose to add new drinks, edit existing drinks or remove those of little interest. It is additionally added a function to rate drinks. All drinks that the user have rated 3/5 stars or higher is automatically appended to a list of favorites.

Fetch sysinf script (Batch)

Collects system information from a windows machine using a batch script. System information collected:

Username
Timestamp of capture
Operating system
Volume drive and serial number
System information (ex. host name, OS info, CPU, BIOS, RAM, network cards, time zone etc.)
Tasklist of current active processes
